We are an archaeological project based in the Alentejo region of Portugal investigating the prehistoric settlement of Castelo Velho da Serra d’Ossa. We run a month-long archaeological field school each summer, providing students from all of the world an opportunity to learn about the Iberian Peninsula’s archaeology and later prehistory in addition to its more recent history, culture, and day-to-day life in the Alentejo.

Créée en 1960, avec à l'origine une vocation artisanale, l'entreprise dirigée par Monsieur Raymond CASTES a pris une dimension industrielle en 1971 avec le passage en société anonyme. En 1971, elle employait 25 personnes, à ce jour, elle en emploie 210. L'entreprise est spécialisée dans la production de menuiseries Bois, PVC, Aluminium pour le bâtiment : Fenêtres, portes-fenêtres et coulissants essentiellement. En 1987, Christian CASTES succède à son père Raymond CASTES à la direction de la société. En 1989, la société développe son activité en créant un atelier de production de menuiseries PVC pour répondre à la croissance et aux évolutions du marché. En 1994, elle démarre l'activité aluminium. La société est installée sur un terrain de 9 hectares situé à Villefranche-de-Rouergue (Aveyron). Elle dispose aujourd'hui de 3 unités de production représentant une surface de 26000m² couverts.
