Catholic Charities of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse (Catholic Charities of Broome County) is dedicated to caring for those in need while promoting human development, collaboration, and the elimination of poverty and injustice. We strive to empower those served to transform their lives in the spirit of God's love and compassion. Catholic Charities serves over 60,000 members of the Broome County community every year. It serves more than 90,000 meals to the hungry, counsels and advocates for youth, families, people with developmental and mental health needs, - all without regard to the religion of the recipient. Catholic Charities of California, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit representing the twelve Local Catholic Charities Organizations in California at the state level. Every year, these organizations provide more than 1.5 million professional social services to Californians who need help. Founded in 1986, Catholic Charities of California is the single point of access to this statewide network. In support of Local Catholic Charities Organizations, Catholic Charities of California: Is the point of contact with state officials, legislators, foundations, and other statewide and national organizations; Applies for funding on behalf of Local Organizations and leads administration of regional and statewide programs; Provides technical assistance, and leadership to Local Organizations in developing model programs; and Facilitates collaboration and networking among Local Catholic Charities Organizations.

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado is the social service arm of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. It was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) human service organization in 1968. It is currently one of 1,640 Catholic Charities USA social service agencies in the United States. Catholic Charities provides social services throughout a 10-county area with most of the services targeted to people living in Colorado Springs and El Paso County. Services are provided to people of all races, backgrounds and beliefs. Catholic Charities provides help and creates hope for people who are poor and vulnerable in our area through the efforts of a wide range of programs and services. Mission In response to Jesus Christ’s call to affirm the value and dignity of each human life, to build solidarity within the community, and to advocate for justice for the poor and vulnerable, Catholic Charities of Central Colorado humbly engages in the ministry of charity for those in both economic and spiritual poverty so that all – staff, volunteers, and clients – may fully achieve their God-given potential. Vision: Catholic Charities of Central Colorado will carry out its mission, for all those in need, through loving witness to the Gospel, compassionate and competent service, and meaningful advocacy. Our Mission: Motivated by the teachings and love of Jesus Christ, Catholic Charities of Dallas serves, advocates for, and empowers people in need regardless of race, religion, age, gender or national origin and calls the community to action. On behalf of the parishioners of the Diocese of Dallas, Catholic Charities of Dallas helps the poor and most vulnerable in four core mission areas: strengthening families, alleviating hunger, preventing homelessness and welcoming the stranger. Our agency currently offers services through 9 locations across North Texas, providing assistance to families in need throughout the nine counties that make up the Diocese of Dallas, including: Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall.

Assistance is provided without regard for race, color, or creed; we estimate that approximately 85% of those served are not of the Catholic faith. Our staff and more than 7,200 volunteers carry out the mission. Catholic Charities is not a United Way agency and receives limited government grants. The majority of funding for operations is provided by individuals and charitable organizations.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we commit to serve the vulnerable and to strive for a just society. Within the Immigration and Refugee Department, we assist the immigrant and refugee population by providing technical and informational support as it relates to their immigration status. This is to take place in such a way that the dignity, welfare, and self sufficiency of the individual is promoted. The department will operate in a manner that respects the laws of our country, while always seeking to be an agent working toward social justice through advocacy.
Founded along with the Diocese of Rockville Centre in 1957, Catholic Charities’ two original offices have grown to become one of our region’s most extensive human service networks, assisting Long Islanders at every stage of life. With more than 60 sites from Elmont to the East End, Catholic Charities serves an average of more than 58,000 neighbors per year.
