Who We Are: The CBWC Foundation is the autonomous financial branch of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada and exists to financially support the ministries of the CBWC and its associated and affiliated charitable organizations, in the form of expert counsel, oversight and administration. What We Do: As a charity for charities, the Foundations basic directive is to receive various gifts and manage them for the long-term benefit of CBWC and its ministries. The Foundation offers values-based investments, provides loans to CBWC churches, education grants to theology students, and manages client investment portfolios. The Foundations operating profits are redirected to the CBWC community. How We Operate: Our aim is to live as stewards of the resources weve been given. We pair strong financial policy with a heart for funding kingdom growth across Western Canada, and work closely with our board and CBWC leadership to ensure these goals are met.

CBx is new public forum for building energy professionals, at the cutting-edge of narrowing the performance gap through sharing data, information and best practice. We use robust data from the CarbonBuzz platform combined with targeted research from UCL Energy Institute, providing a unique evidence-based platform to drive knowledge and understanding. OUR VISION: That every building will perform as expected, in order to deliver a truly sustainable built environment. OUR MISSION: To provide property professionals with the tools to understand and validate energy and carbon data to reduce the performance gap in buildings. OUR APPROACH: We facilitate cross-sector knowledge and data sharing events, collaborative research, bespoke advisory and training led by property professionals, to increase the capacity of those involved in energy efficiency and property management across the UK. CBx is for all organisations and individuals involved in the design, engineering and development stage through to operational management of properties. We are supported by the UCL Energy Institute and the UKs leading property and building energy performance organisations.
