Competence Centre Ltd. for research and development (Centar kompetencija d.o.o. za istraživanje i razvoj) has been established in 2016 by Vukovar-Srijem County, Croatia. Our vision is to become leader in bioeconomy by using existing resources in smart and sustainable way. Our mission is environment protection, sustainable development and rising competitiveness thru RDI projects.

Približavamo ideju o prelasku sa linearne na cirkularnu ekonomiju zbog neophodnosti racionalnijeg korišćenja energetskih resursa, produžavanja veka proizvoda koje svakodnevno koristimo i očuvanja životne sredine. Resursa je sve manje, pa je izlaganje i pojašnjavanje argumenata o važnosti i dobrobitima ovog procesa odgovorna misija, jer želimo da narednim generacijama ostavimo planetu u boljem stanju nego što smo je zatekli. Centar tako utiče na pozitivnu društvenu atmosferu koja će, uz pomoć donosilaca odluka i stručne javnosti, umnogome olakšati ubrzavanje procesa implementacije cirkularne ekonomije u njenom punom ekonomskom kapacitetu. U korist cele zajednice gradimo most između privrede, države, građana i nauke kako bismo ostvarili ono što nam je svima u interesu održivo društvo. Koristeći medijske i druge kanale komunikacije promovišemo pojam i modele cirkularne ekonomije, dajući prostor pozitivnim primerima iz domaće prakse, neposrednog okruženja i globalno. Objedinjujemo sve važne informacije o ovoj temi na jednom mestu, konsultujući stručnjake u oblasti cirkularne ekonomije uz slikovito pojašnjavanje neophodnih procesa za uspešan prelazak iz tradicionalne u ekonomiju budućnosti. Iniciramo, i učestvujemo u njihovom sprovođenju, istraživanja o mogućnostima i isplativosti poslovnih modela i konkretnih projekata u oblasti cirkularne ekonomije i ispitivanja javnog mnjenja na temu životne sredine, reciklaže, otpada i ostalih segmenata u ovoj oblasti. Organizujemo skupove, seminare, radionice koje za cilj imaju edukaciju, usavršavanje, informisanje kako profesionalaca u oblasti upravljanja otpadom, dizajniranja poslovnih procesa, tako i građana potrošača, kao jedne veoma važne grupacije u lancu procesa cirkularne ekonomije.

The Environment Improvement Centre (EIC) is a non-governmental and a non-profit organization, established in 2008, with a goal to support and help the natural heritage protection and fair distribution of resources through the sustainable development and green values postulates implementation. We are also registered for business in the fields of management and consulting. EIC also advocates for the sustainable development through the multi-sectoral approach and utilization of new technical and technological solutions through the education and a number of various public and professional contests. Besides that, we are involved in developmental, educational, decision and policy making projects and processes related to the climate change and disaster risk reduction in Serbia and SEE region. Projects that we have implemented were funded by European commission, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Serbian Ministries, City of Belgrade and many other national authorities, international organization and private foundation and companies.
