The Center for an Agricultural Economy envisions a future with thriving landscapes, healthy local food, and vital, equitable communities. We believe a place-based agricultural economy and intentional community development is the path to this future. Our mission is to build a regenerative, locally based, healthy food system by engaging the greater Hardwick community through collaboration opportunities, educational outreach, food access and providing infrastructure. Our programs include farm and food business advising, shared-use commercial kitchens, farm-to-institution supply chain, innovative financing, place-based education, food access and equity, community commons at Atkins Field, and Northeast Kingdom Organizing.

CAPT publications, assessments, and training workshops emphasize the positive benefits of personality diversity and development, and support understanding, insight, and growth for thousands of people and organizations throughout the world. CAPT's mission is to extend and teach the accurate understanding of the ethical and practical applications of C.G. Jung's theory of psychological types, which shows how our differences in experiencing events and making decisions can be valuable rather than divisive, and can be used constructively to promote personal development, to manage conflict, and to increase human understanding worldwide.

Our company specializes in translating research into practice. Our primary emphasis is the development of non-pharmacologic interventions for persons with dementia and related disorders. We also have worked with other populations that have memory and/or cognitive impairments. We train professional and lay caregivers in effective interventions for challenging behaviors associated with dementia and related disorders, and we use a train-the-trainer model to facilitate dissemination of training within organizations. Our manuals and other training materials are in use in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia, and have been been translated into six different languages. We also provide distance training around the world.

The mission of the Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium is Education and Youth Development through promoting the understanding, appreciation, and protection of aquatic life and habitats. The nonprofit Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium (CAS) is a leader in conservation-oriented research, environmental education, and community service both locally and globally. The Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium conducts programs offsite through outreach projects to schools and community-based organizations as well as onsite at Adventure Aquarium in a unique partnership to engage aquarium visitors in the wonder of the aquatic world.

Center For Autism Spectrum Treatment, Inc. (CAST) specializes in the treatment of Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders. At CAST, we use a multidisciplinary approach to teach children and their families adaptive skills of functioning to enrich their quality of life and help them be active members in the community. Through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) we develop highly individualized behavior treatment plans to address the core deficits of Autism Spectrum disorders, such as functional language and communication, social skills, self-help skills, play skills, cognitive skills, and academic performance. Our team of professionals is comprised of highly skilled and caring individuals who are dedicated in providing highly quality clinical services in support of children and families challenged by Autism.

Founded by Ralph Nader and Consumers Union in 1970, The Center for Auto Safety is the nations leading independent non-profit organization providing consumers a voice for auto safety, quality, and fuel economy. For over forty five years, the Center has pushed for the accountability of automobile manufacturers, openness in the rule-making and regulatory process, and public attention to safety issues that affect us all. The Center for Auto Safety is a membership-driven organization and is home to the Safe Climate Campaign, which fights global warming by working for big, specific measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including slashing auto emissions and cutting the nations oil use in half. The Center is also the publisher of The Car Book, which since 1980 has been Americas most comprehensive car buying guide.

The Institute of Professional Practice is a private, non-profit human service and educational organization. We provide residential, day, vocational and academic services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In addition we offer training and consultation services to families, schools, human service organizations, and governmental agencies.
