The Center for Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the University of Zurich conducts research and exchange with practitioners in the fields of intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, know-how, data, etc.) and competition law (antitrust and unfair competition). As a core purpose, the Center wishes to contribute to a functioning and future-oriented legal framework for competition and innovation.

Center for Investment & Trade (CIT SINALOA) As a coordinated office between the State Government and Private Business Sector (CODESIN) , CIT Sinaloa is the office aimed to attract new Investments to Sinaloa State in Mexico, Through its highly business oriented team of Promotion Executives, the CIT Sinaloa has developed core competences related to assisting regional and foreign potential investors giving all the support from the State Government to have presence in our Sinaloa. Sinaloa is recognized in Mexico and abroad for its leadership in the nation´s food production, for the volume and quality of its fish, meat and agricultural products and for its recreational and business tourist destinations. But above all, for the passion its people bring to the day-today building of a better place to live. Currently Sinaloa is diversifying its economic sectors towards industrialization, biotechnology, information technologies and international logistics, by building strategic infrastructure within its territory for the economic development of the nation, with historical investments of over 6 billion dollars. In the Tourism sector, the Federal Government is building the largest resort project of the last 20 years, with a direct investment of 925 million dollars, which will be the detonator to attract private investment capital for 13 billion dollars. Sinaloa today is, undoubtedly, the best place to invest in Mexico. In Sinaloa, we are competing worldwide.

CiRA's Mission: To serve as the world-first core institute dedicated to leading iPS cell research. To pursue the possibilities of iPS cells through both fundamental and applied research with the goal of contributing to the development of regenerative medicine. To maintain close ties with Kyoto University’s Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences, Graduate School of Medicine, and University Hospital to promote research collaborations and the cultivation and exchange of young scientists.

The Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA) is a public non-profit exhibition and research center opened in February 2014, dedicated to promoting new scholarship and conversation around Italian 20th-century art. Each academic year, we present one major exhibition, fund a number of fellowships for emerging art historians of any nationality, and offer a wide range of public programs. We present exhibitions of Italian modern masters, often rarely exhibited in the US. Our SoHo space is a loft designed to feel like a home and to foster an intimate experience with great works of art. Our annual, October-through-June exhibition allows our visitors, members, and scholars-in-residence to enjoy extended and intimate contact with exceptional art. The inspiration for this model comes from CIMA president Laura Mattioli, art historian and collector, whose father Gianni Mattioli opened his Milan apartment in the 1950s and '60s to the public to give weekly tours of his collection - which included masters such as Giorgio Morandi, Giorgio de Chirico, and the Italian Futurists. In this same spirit, CIMAs fellows welcome the public on Fridays and Saturdays with a complimentary espresso and lead guided visits of the exhibition, encouraging conversation and a close encounter with the art. A catalogue with contributions by our fellows is published in conjunction with each season. Our installations are open-ended platforms for new scholarship and our broad range of public programs. Each season we present study days, contemporary artist talks, sketch nights, family events, screenings, and more. CIMA is open on Fridays and Saturdays for guided visits at 11am and 2pm; and for open hours between 1pm and 6pm, October through June. Group tours can be made by appointment on other days. Visits are $10; free for students and members. Members are welcome all week by appointment, receive free entry to CIMA programs and tours, a copy of the annual catalogue, and invites to special events.

The vision of CLIC is to help students become productive members of a society in which multilingualism and multiculturalism are the norm rather than the exception. To that end, our courses develop communicative and interactional abilities in a second language through the study of linguistic, social and cultural aspects of language use in context.
