In 1929, a group of concerned and dedicated citizens in Utica, N.Y. recognized a need in the community and rose to a noble challenge: to help people who were blind and visually impaired. Aspiring to a greater good, they founded the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI). Their mission then was to assist people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their highest levels of independence. It remains so today. CABVI continues to operate as a not-for-profit agency that serves people who are blind or visually impaired, from newborns to the elderly, generally free of charge. We offer comprehensive vision rehabilitation, employment and technology services personally tailored to meet an individual's needs. Since 1973, Central Australian Aboriginal Congress has provide support and advocacy for Aboriginal people in the struggle for justice and equity. Since that time, Congress has expanded to become the largest and oldest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory. Congress provides a comprehensive primary health care service to the Aboriginal community of Alice Springs and to outstations within a 100-km radius, and delivers health services in nine remote Central Australian communities. As a culturally responsive service, Congress has an holistic approach to healthcare, taking into account not just a person’s physical health, but their social and emotional health as well as recognising the importance of the cultural wellbeing of our clients’ communities.

Central Australian Institute Of Technology Pty. Ltd T/A Central Australian College (CAC) is a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that meets federal and state educational standard and functions with an objective of providing skilled workforce to growing Australian job market. Currently CAC caters to both domestic and international students. It has been registered for Skills Victoria Funding as well as Apprenticeship and Traineeship.
