Amon Focus, hails from Queens, New York, he is the founder and Creative Director of New York Said: a global documentary initiative with the simple mission to capture and preserve social commentary hidden in plain sight around the world. The notion of the ubiquitous and ephemeral are married in the New York Said photo series. With New York Said: Volume Three slated for publication late Spring 2017, Amon is focused on capturing the complex human narrative through words. He weaves the humorous, profane, and thought-provoking, by allowing the viewer to interact with the words through experience and contemplation. Emergent in Amons photography are the often overlooked details that delight the viewers senses and demand that you pay attention to the streets. The conversation is ever-changing and complex, nuanced and fearless. In an effort to build further connection, Amon created the New York Said Podcast, a fusion of cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, ideas, and stories under the premise that everyone has something to share. The podcast takes the listener into the lives of the sometimes famous and the sometimes unknown New Yorker. Solicitous and curious by nature, Amon has the unique ability to engage his guests in sharing the gems that help listeners navigate lifes challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm and verve. Each conversation is a snapshot and displays an auditory photograph of each guests journey. Amons fashions himself as a documentarian and lover of all things associated with the ever-changing and multifaceted landscape of the Empire State. Urban exploration is his pastime. Amon is making a name for himself by engaging New York directly as his source for everyday inspiration by seeking the message in the words from the voices of those often misunderstood, overlooked and sometimes underappreciated. DIS is the custom-made shoe brand that modernises excellent Italian craftsmanship through the use of cutting-edge technology: a proprietary 3D Shoes Configurator purposely developed to be used online at www.dis.shoes and inside all affiliated retail stores. It’s a real creative process that allows customers and stores to play with more than 50M combinations of leathers, accessories and soles, in order to create a unique shoe each time, as unique as each person, while stores won’t have storage rooms cluttered anymore. Production takes just 10 days and it is done in "Le Marche" region (Central Italy), inside traditional shoemaking workshops with over 100 years of experience. Nowadays DIS is distributed worldwide giving the chance to everyone, everywhere, to express their personality and create unique shoes to “Be Different, Be Yourself!”
