District 58 Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that represents clubs in the state of South Carolina where members improve their public speaking and leadership skills. The mission of the district is to enhance the performance and extend the network of clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters International educational program by: * Focusing on the critical success factors as specified by the district educational and membership goals. * Ensuring that each club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members. * Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for club and district officers.

Our Vision At HRDC, we envision a future in which we provide social and human services to individuals and families in need in Big Horn, Carbon, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, and Yellowstone counties. We embrace, encourage, and are strengthened by diversity of our programs and staff, and are unique in that we serve people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. At HRDC we are positioning ourselves to be leaders in coordinating services and directly serving some of the most pressing needs of our residents. Our ultimate goal is to inspire people in achieving their highest potential through responsive, supportive, progressive and proactive hands-on client advocacy and supportive services with the utmost accountability. HRDC will continue to support other organizations by providing needs consultation service in case management, fiscal management, program service development and delivery, and striving to expand local service network capability. District 86 is part of Toastmasters International and serves the heartland of Ontario from Sault Ste. Marie in the north to Welland in the south, from Sarnia in the west to Markham in the east - and all communities in between - except Toronto and Eastern Ontario. Created in 2008, District 86 has over 240 clubs and growing, with 5,000 members, 10 Divisions, and 62 Areas. This includes community clubs, corporate clubs, university/college clubs, government clubs, and bilingual clubs. Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development, serving 352,000 members in 16,400 clubs in 141 countries. It was founded in October 1924 by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley, at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California. It is registered as a not for profit educational organization in that State. The world headquarters is located in Englewood, Colorado.
