The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Denver has four cornerstone programs that empower and transform women’s lives. Our programs help them find positions that offer a livable wage and a career path; programs that help them keep their jobs, succeed in both life and work and provide a road map for giving back to their communities. Although best known for providing professional apparel, our personal and professional development resources are crucial components to employment retention and sustained self-sufficiency. We rely on the contributions of individuals, corporations, foundation and government grants, and fundraising events. Funding is the most vital need of the mission.

The mission of Dress for Success Greater London is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life. Dress for Success Greater London is an affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide which has expanded to more than 130 cities in 16 countries since starting in 1997. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 775,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.

Dress for Success Maastricht maakt deel uit van een wereldwijde vrijwilligersorganisatie die werkzoekenden met een minimuminkomen voorziet van sollicatiekleding en presentatie-advies. Bij Dress for Success helpen wij mensen graag op hun weg naar economische onafhankelijkheid. Wij bieden mannen en vrouwen met een minimuminkomen representatieve kleding en praktische ondersteuning om goed voorbereid en verzorgd voor de dag te komen op hun sollicitatiegesprek en zo de kans op werk te vergroten. Veel mensen zijn actief op zoek naar een betaalde baan, die bij hen past. Maar voor iemand met een uitkering of een minimum inkomen valt het niet mee zich voor een sollicitatiegesprek representatief te kleden. Hierdoor wordt de kans op ‘een goede eerste indruk’ gemist en gaat de baan naar een ander. Dress for Success is er juist voor deze mensen. Gratis advies en kleding Dress for Success is een vrijwilligersorganisatie die werkzoekenden aan kleding helpt, die past bij de functie waarop ze solliciteren. De kleding in de - inmiddels - 13 winkels is afkomstig van donaties uit het bedrijfsleven en van particulieren. Omdat wij geen winstdoelstelling hebben, worden alle adviezen en alle kleding gratis verstrekt. Sneller dan gedacht een leuke baan In de praktijk blijkt onze aanpak voor veel mensen een uitkomst.
