المحاكم بحسب أكثر الأشكال القضائية شيوعا في العالم تنقسم إلى درجات ثلاث : 1- المحكمة الابتدائية: وهي أولى درجات التقاضي. 2- محكمة الاستئناف: وهي ثاني درجة من درجات التقاضي. 3- محكمة التمييز: وهي أعلى درجات التقاضي وأخرها. ومحاكم دبي في درجاتها الثلاث الابتدائية والاستئناف والتمييز لم ينشئها من الناحية القضائية قانون واحد منذ بداية الأمر بل إن القوانين في شأن إنشائها صدرت متتالية حيث صدر أول قانون في الثامن من سبتمبر سنة 1970 مقرراً إنشاء محاكم دبي ومحدداً رئيس قضاتها وقسمها إلى محاكم أحوال شخصية ومدنية وحدد فيها درجتين للتقاضي هي الابتدائية والاستئنافية ثم صدر قانون رقم (2) لسنة 1979م الذي شكل محكمة الاستئناف العليا صدر قانون رقم (1) لسنة 1988م بتشكيل محكمة التمييز وظل الأمر كذلك حتى صدور قانون تشكيل المحاكم في إمارة دبي رقم (3) لسنة 1992م والذي جمع شتات المحاكم الثلاث في قانون واحد وقرر أن المحاكم تتكون من المحاكم الثلاث التمييز والاستئناف والمحكمة الابتدائية. وجاء بعد ذلك صدور قانون تأسيس دائرة المحاكم برقم 3 لسنة 2000 والذي أعلن تأسيس دائرة تسمى دائرة المحاكم وأعطاها صلاحية تنظيم المحاكم بإمارة دبي من الناحيتين المالية والإدارية وقد حدد ذلك القانون صلاحيات الدائرة وسمى إداراتها الفنية والمالية والإدارية. وظل الأمر على ذلك النحو حتى صدور القانون رقم 1 لسنة 2003 بشأن تأسيس دائرة العدل ذلك القانون الذي أعطى الدائرة صلاحيات تجمع تحت جناحيها المحاكم والنيابة العامة بكافة صلاحياتهما وأدارتهما السابقة مضافاً إليها الإشراف على جهاز التفتيش القضائي مع الإشارة إلى التعويل في تنظيم شؤون المحاكم والنيابة العامة والتفتيش القضائي على القوانين الصادرة في شؤون تنظيم كلٍ منها على حدة قبل صدور قانون تأسيس دائرة العدل. وفي عام 2005 صدر قانون إلغاء دائرة العدل الذي أعاد الأمر لسابق عهده بفصل النيابة العامة عن المحاكم وأخيرا قانون تنظيم محاكم دبي لسنة 2005 الذي أعاد تسمية محاكم دبي كما هو (محاكم دبي (وأعاد تشكيل إداراتها وبقي الأمر كذلك إلى هذه الساعة.

The Dubai CrossFit® Championship is a four-day CrossFit, Inc.-sanctioned competition taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with the goal of bringing together individual and team athletes from around the world to compete in the spirit of fitness. The Dubai CrossFit® Championship (DCC) previously known as DFC has been attracting athletes of the highest caliber since its initiation in 2012, and continues to provide the excitement and challenge sought by athletes internationally, in the heart of the world’s favorite city. 2018 The Dubai CrossFit® Championship is the first CrossFit®, Inc. – sanctioned event in the world rewarding the first place male, female and team competitors with a qualification to the 2019 Rebook CrossFit Games®. 2016 - 2017 Expanding on the previous success of the event, the introduction of the online qualifier allowed the Dubai CrossFit® Championship to reach more athletes than ever before. In 2017 we welcomed a total of 72 athletes from 19 different countries representing four continents, including 32 CrossFit Games® athletes. 2012 - 2015 Prior to the online qualifier athletes were required to travel to Dubai and compete across multiple gyms and venues to earn a spot to the finals a week later which provided a great platform for the local fitness community to thrive and compete amongst themselves and set the stage for the years to come.

The six-day varied programme of design-related events, exhibitions, performances, awards, talks and workshops and experiences is made up of events covering design across a range of disciplines including architecture, product, furniture, interior and graphic design. An accessible meeting point for the global design community, Dubai Design Week, staged in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), a member of TECOM Group PJSC, and supported by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, is a platform for regional design as well as a catalyst for the growth of the creative scene in Dubai. Key events include the region’s leading design fair Downtown Design and its showcase dedicated to limited-edition design, Downtown Editions; and Abwab, the curated and interactive project containing original design from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
