Dubai English Speaking College is part of the oldest British school in Dubai; Dubai English Speaking School (DESS). The College was established in 2005 to meet the needs of our parents and their children looking for a British education from Year 7 to Year 13. The Dubai Equine Hospital was founded in 1995 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Originally created to provide veterinary care for local horses, the Dubai Equine Hospital has developed as the equine population has increased and diversified. The Hospital now meets the demands of a globally orientated horse industry within the Middle East as well as providing care for the resident horses. It serves as a one-stop shop for producers, film crews and filmmakers to ensure that filming in Dubai is as easy and efficient as possible. DFTC is the sole entity authorized to issue shooting permits for the limitless exciting locations that Dubai has to offer, whether private or public, and does so through the Location Approval Services (LAS) office. Additionally, DFTC is committed to finding ways to reduce the cost of filming in Dubai and provide financial incentives, whether through special arrangement with key industry partners, licensing and fee rebates, or negotiations with service providers.
