DDLETB was established on 1st July 2013 under the Education and Training Boards Bill 2012, as an amalgamation of County Dublin VEC and Dún Laoghaire VEC. It has a corporate structure which is made up of a democratically appointed committee and a management (executive) team. The administrative area covered by DDLETB reaches from Balbriggan in North County Dublin, to Dún Laoghaire in South County Dublin and Lucan in West County Dublin. DDLETB patron schools (primary and Post-primary) and centres (Adult Education, Further Education and Youthreach) are state, co-educational, multi-denominational and inclusive, underpinned by five core values of Excellence in Education, Care, Equality, Community and Respect. Our Schools/centres give equal opportunities to all learners in the communities they serve and provide high quality education through respectful, positive, supportive, and responsive learning environments. We are part of a wider education network where teachers and learners support each other and collaborate to improve teaching and learning for all. We pride ourselves on our commitment to Innovation in Education, Special educational needs, Information Technology in Education, promoting the Arts and allowing every learner to achieve their full potential. Dublin Bus is the largest Public Transport provider in Ireland. Over the last five years Dublin Bus has carried more than 700 million customer across Dublin’s bus network. We have a fleet of over 1000 buses which follow 125 Routes, including 19 high frequency routes. We employ 3,600 people, 2,500 of which are bus drivers. These employees represent 71 different countries. As Ireland’s largest public transport provider, our purpose is to deliver high quality public transport services which meet the needs of people, support the economic growth of our city and also meet our social and environmental aspirations which are representative of a progressive European capital city.

The Dublin Coach group has grown significantly over the past 10 years. We now operate a passenger service route nationwide transporting approx 3 million customers annually. Destinations include: Killarney, Tralee, Abbeyfeale, Newcastle West, Adare, Limerick, UL, Bunratty, Ennis, Kildare, Loais, Waterford, Kilkenny,Cork, Belfast, Dublin Airport, Dublin City and Dundrum We also operate the highly popular long tern car park at Dublin airport called Quickpark with 8,000 space available. 2014, saw the launch of our exciting new sightseeing hop on hop off tour of Dublin called Cityscape. Two other sister companies include Darby O'​ Gill By Dublin Coach for short stays and day tours in Ireland and also Cityscape express city transit which is our new service connecting Dublin Airport, Red Cow Luas and Dundrum 32 times daily. 2016 showed the launch of more routes to showcase the expansion of the Dublin Coach Group so stay tuned.

DCAS was established in 2007 with a view to meeting the increasing demand for specialised English education. We foster an environment in which learners are able to work closely with teaching staff and administrators. We encourage intellectual growth, personal fulfilment and academic excellence.
