Established on 1976 as a national FMCG distribution company in Ankara, Turkey with an international companies product portfolio as well own brands in some food categories. Durukan Confectionery company is established on 1992 by producing their first lollipops in order to sell nationally under the brand name of Durukan Lollipops. In 2003, with the decision of PepsiCo – Frito Lay, to enter into confectionery category in Turkey, the company started to produce lollipops under their brand Rocco. The success of Rocco brand in the Turkish market brought a volume increase in production and the company conducted an exclusivity contract for the national market with Fritolay on 2007. From this date onwards the Company opened with Durukan branded lollipops only into the export markets. Expansion in export markets and Rocco becoming market leader in Turkey, the Company decided to build a new production plant by investing to high capacity lollipop lines and conducted also a new investment for an innovative, state of art product of chewable candy dragee. In 2014, the Company moved to the new factory and in 2015 all products are launched under ‘U’ brand namely U Pops for lollipops, U Too for chewable candy and two new products, U Rock, compressed candy and U Strip, a mouth refreshing strip. In addition, a new kids brand, ‘Jox’ is being launched containing mini lollipops and delightful center filled candy portfolio. At the new production plant, the Company has all Management System certificates such as BRC, IFS, AIB, Sedex, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and Hallal. Also, Durukan Brand is getting involved to Turquality Brand Support Program. The Company is exporting to more than 50 countries. The factory is located in Ankara, Turkey. DurUntash is an Agricultural Research & Development Lab led by a team of expert research scientists and engineers. We collaborate with companies, universities, consultants and growers to develop smart sensor technologies for agriculture, and to ensure the generalizability of these technologies from large to small scale growers, and suitability for research applications.

When Durvet opened for business in 1970, its doors were literally attached to a van carrying its animal health care products warehoused in a tiny 500 square foot rented facility. Durvet was the first entity in the OTC animal health market to bring together manufacturers and ag distributors through a central point, and this vision proved to be the model for the animal health supply chain business. Its original 13 distributor/owners had combined annual sales of $20 million. But from those modest beginnings, Durvet itself is approaching a quarter billion in annual sales, while each year its 23 independent distributor shareholders sell billions of dollars in animal health and agriculture products. Over the years, Durvet has diversified its inventory with livestock, equine and pet health lines. After tripling sales between 1994 and 2004, it expanded its facilities in Blue Springs, Missouri, and currently operates from a 150,000 square foot facility with advanced logistics and distribution technology. From 2005 to 2018 the business has more than doubled and a 54,000 square foot expansion was completed in 2020. The Durvet organization employs 50+ people at its Blue Springs headquarters and supports 50+ member distribution points with nearly 700 sales professionals strategically located around the country to meet the needs of livestock, equine and pet owners – offering them the product performance and affordability they demand.
