Dyslexia International asbl, a non-profit organization, was registered in Brussels, Belgium in 2000. In collaboration with a Scientific Advisory Panel and a team of online consultants in literacy and reading difficulties, Dyslexia International promotes free and fair education and equal opportunities for those who struggle with reading and writing by making teacher training the priority. The organization brings together ministerial officers in charge of teacher training, university researchers and local networks to address the interests of over 10 percent of the world population who risk life-long illiteracy and marginalization, unless they are taught by appropriately trained teachers using methods that meet their learning needs.

Dyslexia Ireland is a national charity working with and for people with dyslexia in Ireland since 1972. We work with and for people affected by dyslexia, by providing information, offering appropriate support services, engaging in advocacy and raising awareness of dyslexia. Our vision is to work towards the development of a society where all people with dyslexia have access to appropriate assessment and support to reach their full potential through education, training and employment in all aspects of life. Dyslexiedossier.nl neemt deel aan de Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2022! Dyslexiedossier.nl is een webapplicatie waarin het hele proces, door alle betrokkenen, digitaal kan worden doorlopen. Ouders, school, hoofdbehandelaars (van SWV de Eem), poortwachter en zorgaanbieders hebben allemaal een eigen dashboard. Binnen de tool kan AVG-proof informatie en mail uitgewisseld worden. Het dyslexiedossier is ontwikkeld samen met en vanuit de gebruikers: de orthopedagogen, intern begeleiders, zorgaanbieders en de ouders van het kind. Het maakt een momenteel arbeidsintensief en complex proces voor hen inzichtelijk en begrijpelijk. 1 - Dyslexiedossier maakt een besparing van vele arbeidsuren per dossier en totaal per regio mogelijk. Dit in een markt met hoge werkdruk en te kort aan gespecialiseerd personeel; 2 - Naast besparingen geeft Dyslexiedossier inzicht aan ouders, voorkomt het foutieve aanvragen en wordt de wachttijd op een uitslag weken korter voor ouders en kinderen. 3 - Het SWV krijgt inzicht in de workload en status van alle dossiers en kan zo de capaciteit van orthopedagogen pro-actief managen. 4 - De gemeente krijgt inzicht in aantallen dossiers en goedgekeurde dossiers en kan zo de zorgkosten van de zorgverleners beter managen. 5 - Aansluiting op de zorgaanbieders, deze kan het volledige dossier downloaden als een kind in aanmerking komt voor behandeling. 6 - Dyslexiedossier voldoet volledig aan de landelijke richtlijn van het Nederlandse Kwaliteitsinstituut Dyslexie (NKD), Leidraad Ernstige Dyslexie: doorverwijzing van onderwijs naar zorg. 7 - Dyslexiedossier voldoet aan AVG-wetgeving.
