Day For Night Films was founded by, and is run by, filmmakers. We are audiovisual story tellers, and our original fiction work is never far from the work we do for clients on commissioned jobs. No matter what we are working on, whether it is our own project or one commissioned by a client, we are always committed to telling a story in the most creative and inspiring way possible. Commissioned Work Our client work is what enables us to always be filming. This ensures that we are constantly on set and completely up to date with the latest technology. Once we receive a brief, we work very closely with our client to understand exactly what their film is trying to achieve. We push clients to think beyond the normal uses of film – not as a mere communication device, but more as a means of opening up dialogue, conveying emotion, and connecting audiences. We are sometimes brought in on a project when it is still being developed for a pitch – at this stage, we help a client identify the objectives for their film which ultimately leads to a more meaningful result. Original Work Our original work, which we develop and produce ourselves, is what enables us to explore our own ideas and those of our collaborators. Day For Night Films has produced a full length feature film, documentaries, shorts and music videos. We are a UK based independent film organisation working across the film exhibition, distribution and screen translation sectors. We're overhauling access routes into the creative industries.
