Established in 1997 by David and Sandra Cunliffe, DC Electronics is today one of the leading manufacturers of custom built electrical systems for the motorsport industry. Since inception the company has seen phenomenal growth on both sides of the Atlantic, with offices in the UK and US servicing the global market. David Cunliffe, Co-founder and Managing Director, has built the company on a wealth of experience in the sector. Initially, David started his career in the RAF, remaining in the air force for eight years before moving to Nissan Motorsports Europe as an Electrician. While working at Nissan, David discovered that wiring loom manufacture was not meeting demand. This was when David and Sandra decided to capitalise on this gap in the market, and DC Electronics was born. Over the years the design technology behind motorsport has changed drastically and the way DC Electronics operates has evolved to ensure that the company is always at the forefront of the industry. In 2012 DC Electronics opened their first US production facility in Mooresville, North Carolina, after identifying North America as a potential market. DC Electronics has distributors worldwide, supplying custom built electrical systems to the global motorsport market. The company prides itself on being an innovator rather than an imitator and maintains its position as one of the leading manufacturers of custom built electrical systems in the world.
