DCTS is a building design company that combines knowledge, training, technology, innovation and responsibility to achieve outstanding results. By accepting challenges, projects have seen a great diversity: multistage metal structures, dual structures withwalls and reinforced concrete, industrial buildings, wooden structures and glued laminated timber, billboards, pergolas, skylights, walkways, top-down system infrastructures and lining deep cavities, furnishings stores, churches - consolidation and new ones, grain mills, silos, tanks, compound feed factories and buildings consolidation.

Founded over 30 years ago in 1988, DCU Drama is one of the most well established, active, and welcoming societies on campus, and has cemented itself as a crucial part of society life in DCU, as DCU's Best Society of 2019. Run by a committee of students, each year our society hosts five flagship shows divided between Semester 1 and 2. The society is open to everyone interested in theatre, not just those interested in performing. Members can get involved in writing, backstage, with lights, sound, stage management, direction and much more.

DCU Ryan Academy is a non-profit, joint venture between Dublin City University and the family of the late Tony Ryan, founder of Ryanair. Our mission is to promote an entrepreneurial mindset and real innovation focus among existing Irish businesses and start-ups through training, supports and finance. @RyanAcademy We have accelerated 75 startups through our Propeller, Female High Fliers and UStart programmes   Propeller has provided early stage funding of 807,000 to 29 startups to-date; of our 24 alumni companies, 9 million in follow-on funding has been raised so far and by the end of 2015 we expect Propeller companies to employ over 100 people.   DCU Ryan Academy works directly with over 150 internationally based startups from countries including Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Lithuania   Through our Female High Fliers programme, DCU Ryan Academy has been heralded as an international best practice case study in supporting Female Entrepreneurship by the European Training Foundation   We have worked with over 280 top scientific researchers from Universities and Institutes of Technology all over Ireland to help commercialize their work   We have introduced entrepreneurship & core business skills to over 750 unemployed professionals & skilled technicians; who have then either returned to employment or started their own business.   We provided further education entrepreneurship and business skills-based programmes for 350 people in industries such as construction, community lending, agri and social enterprise - enabling them to refine or gain new business skills.   DCU Ryan Academy's partnership model between DCU and the Ryan family has been recognised by the European Commission as a best practice case study in supporting entrepreneurs.

DCVALLEY is an initiative to build a high end carrier neutral data center in Ede/Veenendaal in the center of The Netherlands. The approximate size of our DC is 2000m2. DCValley will use a Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage for cooling and the residual heat generated by the data center will be used by neighbouring organizations to warm their buildings. For our power we rely on natural energy resources available in the region. The goal of DCVALLEY is to create the most advanced Data Centers across Europe by using disruptive and open technology in order to let internet be used at its best, now and in the future.
