De La Salle High School was founded in 1965 in the Catholic, Lasallian tradition of the Christian Brothers. We come from a much longer and richer tradition, however. Our roots extend more than 300 years to 17th century France and our Founder, Saint John Baptist de La Salle, who had a very simple vision of education: that the graduates of his Christian schools would be mature, responsible members of society and the Church. As a an all-boys'​ school located in Concord, California, we have an obligation to make a difference in each young man's life, so that when he leaves us, he will serve others graciously and lovingly. We cooperate with one another in a spirit of trust and care; our education is practical, accessible to all, and comprehensive. We are committed to the poor. De La Salle High School New Orleans is a dynamic, innovative Catholic secondary school preparing young people for college, career, and life in a global community associated for the Lasallian mission.

Founded in 1962 by the Brothers of the Christian School, DLSL was built on a 5.9 hectare lot along the national highway. Financed by interest-free loans from Caltex and Shell Corporations, construction of the three one-storey wings of classrooms, a gymnasium-auditorium and the Brothers'​ House began on January 1962. During its first year, DLSL operated as the Boy's Department of the Maryknoll Sisters'​ Our Lady of the Rosary Academy (OLRA). As the Maryknoll Sisters were phasing out OLRA's Boys'​ Department, 221 students were admitted from first to fourth year. Today DLSL has programs for primary, secondary and tertiary education with over 10,000 students from nursery to College and post graduate such as MMT and MBA. DLSL started offering K12 programs with four tracks since 2013. A two-year in-depth specialization for students based on the career track they want to pursue. De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (Tagalog: Pamantasang De La Salle - Dasmariñas) (also referred to as DLSU-D or La Salle - Dasma) is a Roman Catholic Lasallian University in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, Philippines and a member institution of De La Salle Philippines. DLSU-D, despite its name, is an autonomous university separate from the De La Salle University in Manila, which is also a part of the De La Salle Philippines System. The university was established on July 18, 1977 as a private nonsectarian tertiary school named General Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite and managed by the Yaman Lahi Foundation. In 1987, ownership and management were transferred to Frère (St.) Bénilde Romançon Educational Foundation Inc., a sister corporation of De La Salle University-Manila. It became a Catholic institution under the name De La Salle University-Emilio Aguinaldo College. In 1992, the name DLSU-EAC was changed to De La Salle University-Aguinaldo. In 1997, the institution's name was changed again. It is now called De La Salle University – Dasmariñas to avoid confusion with the Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite campus.
