Deep Physio was founded in 2012 by the husband and wife team Sam and Jordana Moxon. Jordana and Sam moved from Manchester England where we were working in professional sport to Canada to persue their dream of opening a clinic that followed the same ethos as the profressional sports teams/athelets. Since then they have grown their team and moved locations 3 times! Currently there are five physiotherapists, a massage therapist, kinesiologists, personal trainers and yoga/pilates instructors working for the company. Staff are trained in SFMA, FMS, STOTT Rehab Pilates, Acupuncture and Neurokinetic therapy as they beleive that all clinicians should speak the same language and have the same goal of treatment. The staff at Deep Physio believe in treating the body as a whole and use manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, acupuncture, taping, clinical pilates and functional exercise prescription to achieve the clients goals. Recently, Deep has moved into a beautiful 6000 sq foot clinic that houses 6 treatment rooms, a yoga/pilates studio, and a gym that is use for rehab/training and sports performance. Finding the patients driver of their problem/injury, treating it and preventing re occurence with fucntional exercises and training are key principles at Deep Physio. This means that there is never a reason to leave Deep Physio as you can train and exercise to stay out of injury in either one of our pilates/yoga classes or group personal training classes. Do not be fooled by the location up north in British Columbia; the staff beleive that Deep is a state of the art clinic and all of the clinicians that have come and worked for Deep have bettered themselves as clinicians as well as the community. We are well known in our area for expert treatments and training, and we are proud our treatments and knowledge that we are able to give to our community.
