As the leader of the nonprofit sector, DANA's mission is to strengthen, enhance, and advance nonprofits and the sector in Delaware through advocacy, training, capacity building, and research. DANA's vision is for quality of life for all Delawareans to improve because nonprofits are delivering on their missions more efficiently and effectively by working with us.

The Delaware Area Career Center offers programs for area high school students and adults to earn industry credentials in specific areas of study. The hands-on training students receive at DACC gives them a head start in college and the workforce. In addition to experience and training, DACC students have the opportunity to earn industry credentials and college credits. Many DACC students take advantage of the opportunity to work with and learn from industry professionals through internships and early job placements. Every year, high school students are offered full time jobs immediately upon graduation. Other students earn college scholarships upwards of $25,000 to continue their education. Area high schools served by the Delaware Area Career Center include Delaware Hayes, Big Walnut, Buckeye Valley, Olentangy, Olentangy Liberty, and Olentangy Orange. Through open enrollment and contracted opportunities, the Delaware Area Career Center works with Westerville North, Westerville South, Thomas Worthington and Worthington Kilbourne. Delaware Area Career Center adult programs prepare workers to enter, compete and advance in a changing work environment. These adult programs focus on the areas of public safety, healthcare, computer training, and many other career skills.

Delaware BioScience Association has a broad-based membership including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, analytical equipment and agricultural products; as well as representatives from academia, medical research, workforce training and other supporting organizations (financial, legal, marketing, consulting, engineering and construction, etc.) that serve the bioscience community. Delaware Bio is focused on being a unified voice for Delaware and the region’s bioscience community to accelerate the growth of human, animal, plant, and industrial biosciences.

The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH) was founded in 1977 by members of the Garden Club of Wilmington to promote a love of gardening and urban greening. As a non-profit membership organization, DCH's mission is to inspire individuals and communities through the power of plants. We cultivate a greener community, inspiring appreciation and improvement of our environment through horticulture, education and conservation. We achieve our mission through Education and Outreach programs, including our Branches to Chances/Return to Work horticultural job skills training program for returning citizens, youth gardening education programs, trips, tours, lectures, and hands-on workshops. Through our Community Forestry programs, we have planted and cared for over 15,000 trees by partnering with neighborhood and community groups, schools, and municipalities across Delaware. Our Urban Agriculture programs include the creation and support of over 30 community gardens, including Wilmington's first urban farm. We beautify high-impact gateways and roadsides through our Public Landscapes program, integrating water management and urban-tolerant plants into sustainable landscape design. Our newly updated facility in Wilmington's Trolley Square neighborhood includes an accessible public garden, art gallery, and examples of sustainable building design, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and our new "infinity green roof,"​ completed in October 2017. Events such as the Rare Plant Auction, seasonal plant sales, and events that integrate food, wine, craft beer, art, and music engage gardeners of all levels and interests. (DAP) was founded in 1976 as part of an effort to provide safety, advocacy and supportive services to victims of domestic abuse not otherwise available within Delaware County. Annually thousands of victims of abuse and their children are supported through the 24/7 hotline, emergency safe house, counseling and legal advocacy.
