Delhi School of Economics , commonly referred to as DSE or D School, is a center of post graduate learning of the University of Delhi. The center is situated in the university's North Campus in Maurice Nagar, and is surrounded by a host of other prestigious academic institutions of the country such as the St. Stephen's College, the Hindu College, and the Faculty of Management Studies. Started in the year 1949, the campus of the Delhi School of Economics houses the University of Delhi's Departments of Economics, Sociology, Geography and Commerce, and the Ratan Tata Library.
