Design Mart's Silicon Valley showroom offers high quality home furnishings to Interior Designers, Architects and others in the furniture specification business. We are a wholesale, to-the-trade only business and are not involved in retail furniture sales. As of October 2013 we are a Northern California Agent Showroom for Robert Allen & Beacon Hill fabrics. Design Mart Hospitality supports projects such as Hotels, Restaurants, Senior Living Public Spaces and more. Through our Hospitality Division, we support commercial and hospitality FF&E sales to designers, project managers and property owners from initial development to complete furnishings updates. We spcialize in full custom designs of case Goods, Occasional and Upholstery.

TWO DAYS OF EXPLORING DIGITAL DESIGN - NOW AND IN THE FUTURE! Design Matters is a place for inspiring, competent, visionary, nerdy, engaging talks, workshops and discussions about the work and role of digital designers now and in the future. We bring together design practitioners from around the world for two days of design talks, workshops, discussions, and socializing in Copenhagen, Lagos, Tokyo, and Mexico City. Each year, we invite speakers from leading digital products from around the world, as well as startups and independent designers. They come to talk about their design practice, challenges, and learnings, showing their work, their attempts, failures, and successes. MEET DESIGNERS FROM ALL OVER THE GLOBE Each year Design Matters brings together more than 1000 UI and UX designers and design leaders from all over the world. Besides prioritizing a high level of design talks and nerd tracks, we also aim to create a fun and social community. The Design Museum was founded in 1873 originally as the Museum of Applied Arts and as a teaching collection of craft and design. Design Museum is an internationally operating museum and an international meeting place of design that maintains the Finnish national collection of design. Design Museum is a specialist museum that has a collection of 75 000 pieces and over 40 000 drawings and sketches. The museum is responsible for research and documentation in its field, and for holding exhibitions on design history and contemporary themes. The museum organizes international touring exhibitions and events on Finnish art and design. Design Museum is a member of ICOM. Besides main premises at Design Museum Helsinki, other venues operated by the Design Museum are Design Museum Arabia, Design Museum Iittala and Design Museum Nuutajärvi. The Design Museum has operated in its current premises (formerly Brobergska Mixed School) since 1978.

Design Odyssey (DO) is a unique and innovative education programme designed by SUTD Academy, in partnership with JP Morgan Foundation. This co-curricular program helps students apply human-centric design and principles that bridge the gap between theory and practice to unleash innovation, social awareness, and social entrepreneurship. DO offers 3 different social innovation tracks. DRIVE, creating, discovering, and exploring the path of social innovation and entrepreneurship.
