Fondata nel 2006, EPC srl è una società che offre servizi di progettazione ambientale avanzata e consulenza tecnica dedicata su differenti linee di programmi attivati da finanziamenti comunitari, nazionali e regionali. Nel 2009 EPC ha attivato una nuova area dedicata agli enti pubblici per il supporto al reperimento di fondi dedicati a progetti di sviluppo e ricerca mediante l'accesso alle agevolazioni finanziarie messe a disposizione dalla Comunità Europea, Stato e Regioni. Attraverso una collaborazione ravvicinata e una comunicazione costante, EPC si propone come supporto operativo dell’ente pubblico, avvicinandolo alla realtà dei finanziamenti regionali, ministeriali ed europei e aiutandolo così a cogliere le opportunità di crescita e finanziamento più adeguate. Dal 2010 EPC è operativa anche a Bruxelles, con propri collaboratori che seguono più da vicino le diverse opportunità di sviluppo Comunitario.

EPC is a not-for-profit home-based palliative care service which offers a full range of support programs with the aim of improving the quality of life of individuals, those providing care and families of those suffering life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Clients are referred by treating doctors, local hospitals, treating specialists, allied health professionals, by self or by family members and friends. EPC is a partnership between the Order of Malta, Outer East Palliative Care Service Inc. and St Vincent’s Hospital [Melbourne] Limited. EPC serves the Local Government areas of Boroondara, Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Monash, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges. The majority of our funding comes from the Department of Health & Human Services. EPC also relies on community fundraising and donations to maintain the services and programs we provide to clients, caregivers, and families. These services are offered free of charge*. EPC provides various professional development opportunities for staff and volunteers through team and forum days, seminars, conferences, internal training and external courses. *All of our services are provided free of charge, aside from equipment delivery and some of our professional training.

EPC Online are responsible for carrying out over 100,000 property assessments throughout the UK in order to provide householders and businesses with Energy Performance Certificates on a nationwide scale. Based in the University of Edinburgh, EPCC provides supercomputing and data services to industry and academia. We have a long track record of working with industry, leveraging our expertise and facilities to accelerate the adoption and spread the benefits of high performance computing. At our Advanced Computing Facility (ACF), we host and operate a remarkable collection of high performance computing and data services, including ARCHER2, the UK’s national supercomputing service, and the Edinburgh International Data Facility. We are a leading provider of high performance computing and data science education and training, and run two established Masters programmes, which offer both on-campus and online study. We also offer opportunities for doctoral (PhD) study in areas related to high performance computing, computational science, data science, software engineering and sustainability, and parallelism among others. EPCC conducts research at the leading edge of high performance computing and data science in areas including application performance optimisation and development, parallel programming models, and parallel I/O performance. Since our inception in 1990, we have gained an enviable reputation for leading-edge capability in all aspects of HPC, data and novel computing.
