Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA) is the representative body of private equity and venture capital industry players and related support services providers in Estonia. Since our founding in 2009, our main focus has been on strengthening and developing the local ecosystem, international relations and providing industry knowledge, research and training to all our members, associate members and other key stakeholders. Today, EstVCA represents the most influential firms and decision-makers across the industry, comprising leading Private Equity & Venture Capital, Mezzanine, Real Estate and Infrastructure funds, Family Offices, and institutional investors as well as various advisors active in the field. In 2022: * EstVCA member AUM has reached €3,08bn; * €449m was invested in 296 companies, €195m of that invested by PE/VC funds; * 19 divestments were made by our members, 13 of which were made by professional funds. * The dry powder of EstVCA members as of 31.12.22 was €595m. There is a total of 650 active portfolio companies with a number of employees reaching 23 800 people. A tightly-knit organisation, the Management Board has three priorities: • To strengthen international network, with a special focus on Nordic-Baltic cooperation. • Developing the Estonian private equity and venture capital ecosystem. • Activities supporting the widening of network and sharing of industry know-how with our members and associate members. The goal of EstVCA is to support its members and associate members in all of their activities and in developing the PE/VC market. Our aim is to be the central organization for networking and knowledge sharing between our members and associate members as well as to support them in the development of their international network. Estonian Television is the biggest public service television channel transmitting in Estonian. It started broadcasting on 19 July 1955. For decades ETV was the only television channel for Estonians. ETV’s task is to promote and propagate Estonian national culture and to record, introduce and preserve its best achievements; and to take into consideration the interests of minority groups. ETV programming is varied offering interesting programmes for all age and interest groups. ETV has the most popular daily news magazine Aktuaalne Kaamera, the programmes include educational, science, culture, lifestyle, current affairs, entertainment and children programmes and strong sports programmes. ETV also offers a high quality acquisitions programming with an emphasis on the European production. In August 2008 was opened ETV2, the second public TV channel in Estonia. ETV2 is only digitally transmitted. VIKERRAADIO, the main radio programme of ERR, was born on 3 April 1967. Vikerraadio can be listened to all over Estonia for 24 hours a day. Vikerraadio offers to its audience comprehensive information programmes, opportunities for self-education and broadening one’s horizons, as well as entertainment. In Vikerraadio, music of Estonian origin is preferred. Many broadcasts of Vikerraadio are produced at the regional studios of ERR.

Estonian Service Industry Association joins over 130 companies for making an impact on Estonian business environment. Estonian Service Industry Association is a voluntary professional membership organisation representing more than 130 service industry companies. ESIA purpose is to drive and support the development of information, creative and professional services sector, emphaisze the importance of highly competitive higher education system and improve the local business environment to attract foreign capital. EISA was established in 2010 with 20 service industry leaders as founding members (see founding members). The association has members from design, IT, law, consultancy, finance, advertising and PR, health and training services sectors.

Estonian Student Satellite Foundation is on a mission to turn Estonia into a great space nation. We have recently joined forces between the students of Tartu Observatory and Tallinn University of Technology to develop all new student satellite projects as a cooperation. The Student Satellite is leading the development of the ESTCube-2 satellite. Our first space project ESTCube-1 (launched in 2013) proved that Estonia is a place of ambitious ideas and talented people. We believe in inspiring people to dream big and give them next-level challenges to overcome so they would become future achievers, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs.

Estonian University of Life Sciences is the only university in Estonia whose priorities in academic and research activities provide the sustainable development of natural resources necessary for the existence of Man as well as the preservation of heritage and habitat. According to QS World University Rankings by Subject (2023), the Estonian University of Life Sciences is one of top 50 universities in the world in the field of agriculture and forestry, ranked 37. The university also belongs to the top 1% most cited research facilities in the world. The academic structure is composed of research and development institutes or institutions, centres and other structural units. Currently, teaching and research is carried out in three institutes: Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Institute of Forestry and Engineering.
