The Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) is an independent, non-profit, incorporated association engaged in fostering the economic development profession in the province of Ontario. EDFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) who's mission is "Connecting money and ideas with entrepreneurs to create sustainable prosperity in Lake and Mendocino Counties” EDFC offers a range of services to new and existing businesses. We operate a Business Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) for Mendocino County businesses to provide gap financing for projects, which encourage job creation, investment and expansion. We also incubate economic development projects, providing fiduciary responsibility and organizational structure. EDFC's 21 member board includes city council members for each of the 4 cities in Mendocino County as well as two Mendocino County Supervisors. The rest of the board is comprised of business, banking, non-profit and other interested community members.

Economic Development Australia is the national peak body for economic development professionals; building capacity, promoting excellence and providing leadership on issues that matter to our members. Established in 2007, EDA has over 2000 members across Australia. The mandate of EDB is to, inter alia, provide strong institutional support for strategic economic planning and ensure greater coherence and effectiveness in economic policy formulation; promote Mauritius as an attractive investment and business centre, a competitive export platform as well as an International Financial Centre (IFC); act as the main institution responsible for country branding for investment promotion; and facilitate both inward and outward investment and ensure a conducive business environment. As an apex body operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development, the EDB synergizes efforts across all ministries and with private stakeholders to meet the set goals. The EDB is responsible to drive research projects and lead initiatives with other stakeholders and address issues such as mismatch in the education and labour system; the impact of an ageing population; the adoption of technology and innovation; infrastructural development; and the opening of the economy, amongst others.

With support from investors and allies in the public sector, the EDC of Lea County actively recruits those companies that will export goods or services from New Mexico, thereby bringing new investment dollars to the state.
