Edgewood Center for Children and Families is a nonprofit provider of behavioral health, family support, and educational services that touch the lives of thousands of children, youth, and families in San Francisco and San Mateo counties each year. Founded in 1851 in San Francisco, Edgewood is the oldest childrens charity in the Western U.S. and has become recognized nationally as a multifaceted agency that transforms lives and restores hope for children and families. Edgewood Forest Products is a manufacturer of SPF #2&Btr and Stud framing lumber making 72"​ - 104 5/8"​ PET lengths in 1x4, 1x6, 2x3, 2x4, and 2x6 dimensions. We operate one profiling sawline on a three-shift basis and one planer on a two-shift basis with a present production capacity of 140 million board feet. The mill was established in the 1970's and was acquired by Edgewood in 2011 and restarted in 2012 after a several years of dormancy. Edgewood was acquired by Dunkley Lumber in 2019.
