Public education in Texas faces the challenge of increasing the quality of the services provided while reducing the cost of delivering those services. These challenges will intensify and become more complex. Education Resource Group (ERG) provides web-based products and services that identify academic and financial best practices, provide a framework for value added measurements, and support accountability efforts in public education. Education Sector is an independent think tank that challenges conventional thinking in education policy. We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to achieving measurable impact in education policy, both by improving existing reform initiatives and by developing new, innovative solutions to our nation’s most pressing education problems. Most of the organizations that come to mind when one says "education policy" either conduct research, represent constituents' interests, or advocate fixed policy agendas. Too often the research is written in language that's hard for policymakers to understand, and thus they don't use a lot of it. And much of the work produced by membership organizations and traditional education advocacy groups is less than objective. This lack of credibility and clarity in research and analysis hurts the cause of education improvement: policymakers make important decisions on the basis of biased information; good ideas don't reach the people with the power to implement them; and it becomes harder to create and sustain an intellectual climate that supports reform. Education Sector was designed to address these problems. Since our founding in 2005, Education Sector has established our expertise in key issue areas—including educational choice, human capital, K–12 accountability, and higher education—and gained credibility as an independent leader in the field. Education Service Center Region 13 is one of twenty service centers that serve the Texas educational needs. We are a non-regulatory agency; our relationship with school districts is collaborative and supportive. Our purpose is to aid teachers and administrators in their role as educators of our children. We serve as a liaison between the Texas Education Agency and the local schools districts and the schools they serve by disseminating information, conducting training and consultation for both federal and state programs.

The purpose of Education Service Center (ESC)-Region 19 is to aid teachers and administrators in the El Paso area in their role as educators of our children. ESC-Region 19 is one of twenty regional service centers located throughout the state that function as a link between the districts and charter schools they serve and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in Austin, the administrative unit of the Texas public education system. Supported by state and federal funds, as well as by fees assessed for services, ESC-Region 19 provides professional development in areas such as technology, bilingual education, special education, gifted and talented education, curriculum development, teaching skills, administrative leadership, and programs for at-risk students. ESC-Region 19 offers technical assistance and support in areas such as data processing and instructional media. Field-based regional services to school districts are also provided. ESC-19 in El Paso serves the following school districts in El Paso and Hudspeth counties: El Paso I.S.D. Ysleta I.S.D. Socorro I.S.D. Clint I.S.D. Canutillo I.S.D. Anthony I.S.D. Tornillo I.S.D. Dell City I.S.D. Sierra Blanca I.S.D. Fabens I.S.D. San Elizario I.S.D. Ft. Hancock I.S.D.
