Après l’ouverture d’un premier site en juin 2007 à Roubaix, sous l’impulsion de la CCI Grand Lille, d’un deuxième site sur Lille en février 2010, l’Ecole de la deuxième Chance Grand Lille a ouvert en 2011 deux nouveaux sites à Armentières et Saint-Omer. Son objectif ? Favoriser l’insertion professionnelle et sociale durable des jeunes sortis du système éducatif sans qualification et sans emploi et animés par une farouche volonté de s’en sortir. . Depuis 2007, plus de 3 000 jeunes ont été accueillis à l’E2C Grand Lille, dont 65% ont trouvé un emploi ou une formation qualifiante, à la sortie. L’école s’appuie sur un réseau de plusieurs centaines d’entreprises pour contribuer activement à sa réussite. Pour la plupart, elles ont aidé les jeunes à trouver leur voie en les accueillant au sein de leurs locaux, en leur faisant découvrir les métiers et en les mettant en situation professionnelle. ECONOMICALLY VIABLE, GEOTHERMAL ENERGY SOLUTIONS E2E Energy Solutions (E2E) is developing innovative technologies to sustainably enhance the power and economic potential of previously unrecognized geothermal areas. From a global perspective, geothermal energy is increasingly being used as an affordable and sustainable alternative to fossil fuels and is one of the few energy sources that can produce baseload power on a 24-hour per day basis with an extremely low carbon footprint. The current challenges associated with conventional geothermal extraction processes include economical and technical limitations as well as the need for subterranean fluid. Despite an abundance of potential geothermal resources in Canada there are currently no geothermal plants operating. E2E Energy Solutions plans to change that with economics that make sense. Our key objective is to design and develop geothermal heat and power generation solutions for a sustainable, net-zero carbon future. We believe our EGRRS process efficiently extracts and delivers sustainable subterranean energy to the surface. On a short-term basis, the company is focused on demonstrating E2E’s deep subterranean enhancement technology.
