Established in 2006 in 6th of October city. El Marakby Steel succeeded to penetrate the steel industry in Egypt to enhance the quality and safe operations. The group dedicated to international standards and committed to sustainable technology, to ensure the long-term conservation of resources to preserve the natural system. The current existing rolling mill plant built on 16,000 m2 produces more than 250,000 tons of steel rebars’ a year in all sizes and dimensions from 10mm to 32mm by Egyptian hands, conducted by British and American standards. Additionally, the new melt shop constructed by SMS Group is designed to produce 350,000 tons of billets and has already begun its production in June 2016. Under El Marakby Group, there are four well-established companies: El Marakby Trading, El Marakby Metallic Industries, El Marakby Steel, and 6th of October Steel Marketing.
