Elleny Gherghe is a visual artist currently living and working in Alcaidesa, Spain. Her relationship with painting began in her early childhood, during which time she discovered her favourite environment and on this day, oil on canvas. The themes of preferred rooms have been strongly influenced by the beauty of nature, throughout the spectrum of the picturesque hometown, Comanesti, Romania. After graduating from the National College of Art, George Apostu, from Bacău, Elleny studied at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, being licensed since 2016 in mural painting. In recent years, her works have been exhibited in Romania and internationally, and are part of private collections in the countries such as Romania, Germany, Spain, Gibraltar, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the USA. The main themes and sources of inspiration for her works reflect the perfect harmony between the beauty of nature and the human figure, through experiences and emotions. Build ties among Durham's diverse neighborhoods and communities using Ellerbe Creek as a link. Partner with the City and other groups that seek to move Durham to become a regional model for proactive urban stormwater management.
