Embrace Calmer Kids is a hub of resources for parents of children with anxiety. A place for parents to go, to find some of the best resources, strategies, courses and specialists, all in the one place, to help support their anxious children. Our goal is to reduce the overwhelm for parents who are trying to make life a little calmer, both for themselves and their children. Research shows that suicide is the leading cause of death amongst Australias youth, with 8 young people taking their lives each week. Globally Australia is the second highest consumers of antidepressants. We need to teach our children awareness, resilience, and most importantly acceptance. Acceptance of their feelings, their situations, of others and most importantly acceptance of themselves. Embrace Calmer Kids was created to support parents and their children, and to try and help reduce the rates of anxiety and depression in young Australians. We want to help build a world of self-aware, self-accepting and resilient young people.
