FORCE is a Devon based charity committed to people whose lives are affected by cancer. Over the last 25 years FORCE has raised over £10 million to help fund local cancer services. Why local? Simply because anyone diagnosed with cancer deserves the best possible treatment and professional support close to home. Although FORCE was originally set up in 1987 to fund local research, (Friends of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Centre Exeter); the Charity has responded to the changing needs of people affected by cancer. In 2004 we opened a purpose built Cancer Support and Information Centre in the grounds of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. The Centre offers a relaxing supportive environment where people can access a full range of advice, support and information under one roof. With over 14,000 visits to the Centre in 2011 it is now a struggle to accommodate some of our much needed support services and we have therefore made plans for the future. In addition to supportive care, and the purchase of important equipment to improve treatment, FORCE remains committed to local cancer research. FORCE funds research within the Peninsula Medical School which is currently focused on lung and ovarian cancers. An updated report on this work will be available in February and will be found on our website www.forcecancercharity.co.uk This year our funding requirements will reach £790,000 - all of this sum will be raised through voluntary contributions.

Force Inspection Services Inc. is a Canadian privately owned company headquartered in Leduc, a city located 33 kilometers south of Edmonton, Alberta. The company specialises in the inspection, repair and storage of oilfield tubulars with two inspection facilities located in Leduc and Grande Prairie, Alberta. In addition to in-plant inspection, Force also provides mobile field services and repairs including bottom-hole assembly (“BHA”) inspection, transverse electromagnetic (“EMI”) drill pipe inspection, refacing and straightening. Force was established in June 2003, in Leduc, AB. In 2009 Force opened a second inspection facility located in Grande Prairie, AB, in order to expand their market share. In addition to in-plant inspection, Force also provides mobile field services and repairs through a fleet of mobile inspection units. Force Mechanical specializes in plumbing, gas and hot water heating installations in multi-family residential wood-frame projects. Force Mechanical was incorporated in November of 2014 by owners Jay Chenier and Phil Friesen. Jay and Phil have over 50 years combined experience in multifamily woodframe plumbing. Both are formerly with Armaur Plumbing – Jay a 50% owner with 25+ years and Phil a Project manager with close to 20 years. Both started as apprentices moving on to Journeyman and then project foreman and then Project Managers. In the summer of 2014 the two decided it was time to move on and bring a brand of plumbing that was next level in the multifamily world. Joining Jay and Phil was a dedicated group of project foreman, Journeyman, apprentices and office manager all with the same ideals and goals. Force Mechanical has quickly established itself as a quality multifamily plumbing company with more than 20 million dollars and 2000+ units under contract completed and current combined. Quality developer’s such as Marcon, VanMar, Ledingham McAllister, Mosaic, Polygon, Aragon, Intracorp and Adera make up the core group of builders that Force Mechanical calls partners. On the other side we have long lasting partnerships with suppliers like Andrew Sheret, Glassworld, Universal Supply, Emco, Wolseley, Langley Concrete, Engineered Pumps, and Vincent Helton. At Force Mechanical, we are always open to building new relationships with builders and suppliers – but it is these long term relationships that have been key to our success to date!
