Founded in 2008 by Mechanical Engineering students from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, we are the Formula SAE UFMG team. We participate annually in the Formula SAE Brazil competition, organized by SAE Brazil. Our mission is to design, manufacture and test a high performance car, providing our members with the necessary conditions for the practical application of the knowledge obtained during graduation, representing UFMG and the state of Minas Gerais in the Formula SAE competitions. In the 2017 season, we won 4th place in the Acceleration and Autocross races. In the 2018 season, we won 1st place in the Presentation competition. For the 2019 competition, the team is developing projects to improve the many subsystems that integrate the car in order to reach the podium and thus the classification for international competitions.

Our solution, XRProj, is a 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰.𝟬 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆. One of the key features of XRProj is its ability to export presentations into a variety of formats, including VR, AR, PC, and HTML5. Additionally, this software allows for multi-user cross-platform usage. It is also a "content authoring tool", so it allows the user to create all its content and training processes without depending on 3rd parties to provide customized content. In more details, the tool provides an automated CAD to VR conversion, where the user can import the 3D models of his products and create immersive training, presentations, or virtual manuals in a very simple way, without having to write a single line of code. With a timeline system, the user can organize operations, processes, create schematic animations or even trigger events such as popups or play videos. Its multi-user capabilities allow remote team members to meet inside a digital environment and visualize complex machinery in full scale and communicate with each other in an immersive virtual conference.
