Four Feet Companion Foundation (FFCF) is a registered charity established in September 2012 in Calgary, Alberta and provides financial grants, as well as volunteer support to registered local animal charities. FFCF raises funds through events, donations and corporate sponsorship. Priority areas of funding are spay/neuter programs, companion animal rescue, adoption programs and extraneous emergencies (medical care for homeless, abandoned or injured animals). The Foundation is a registered charity and 100% volunteer-run, with approximately 20 active volunteers. There are two annual granting periods during the spring and fall, but emergency grant applications are accepted year-round. Grant applicants follow a two-step application process before funds are granted, including detailed information on how the funds will be used. Our mission is to support animal charities.
