Le Partenariat Français pour l’Eau (PFE) est une association à but non lucratif régie par la loi de 1901, créée en 2007 lors de la Journée Mondiale de l’Eau. Plateforme française d’échanges et de réflexion, elle contribue à mettre l’eau à l’ordre du jour de l’agenda politique mondial et partage au plan international et de façon collective les savoir-faire français. Le PFE rassemble aujourd’hui 200 membres, acteurs publics et privés de l’eau comprenant des représentants de l’Etat et de ses établissements publics, des ONGs, des associations et fondations, des collectivités territoriales et parlementaires, des acteurs économiques, des institutions de recherche et de formation, des personnes physiques françaises et étrangères. Ensemble, les membres du PFE élaborent des messages communs et partagés par tous les collèges et les diffusent dans les enceintes et les instances européennes et internationales telles que les Nations unies, l’Union Européenne ou encore lors d’événements comme le Forum Mondial de l’Eau ou la Semaine Mondiale de l’Eau de Stockholm.
