Si tratta di un incontro informale in cui saranno presentati temi di natura tecnica e in cui ci sarà tempo per bere qualche birra e chiacchierare assieme. La fromagerie Boivin est une entreprise familiale fondée en 1939 par Bernadette, Noël, Herman, Patrick, Antonio Boivin et leur mère Marie Bluteau. Il font alors lacquisition de la fromagerie qui appartient à leur cousin Joseph Boivin, inspecteur de fromage et grand maître fromager. Cest en 1958 que la fromagerie sinstalla dans les locaux actuels du 2152, chemin Saint-Joseph de larrondissement La Baie à Saguenay et afin de répondre aux exigences de lindustrie de transformation laitière et à celle dune clientèle toujours grandissante. En 1982, on entreprend de structurer le réseau de vente et diversifier la clientèle afin de développer le marché du fromage cheddar frais du jour que nous connaissons aujourdhui . Après quelques mois defforts, les ventes annuelles atteignirent 600 000 livres de fromage. En 2017, groupe Boivin fait l'acquisition d'un fleuron régional de Drmmundville, soit la fromagerie Lemaire. Aujourd'hui, l'entreprise engage près de 250 employés.
