FRoSTA sp. z o.o. rozpoczęła swoją działalność na rynku polskim w 1998 roku, jako dystrybutor żywności mrożonej produkowanej przez FRoSTA AG. W 1999 roku, firma zakupiła zakład produkcyjny w Bydgoszczy i rozpoczęła produkcję konfekcjonowanych produktów rybnych pod własną marką. Obecnie fabryka w Polsce stanowi jeden z filarów produkcji FRoSTY AG, a wytwarzane w Polsce produkty oferowane są nie tylko na polskim rynku, ale również eksportowane do Bułgarii, Chorwacji, Czech, Estonii, Francji, Łotwy, Niemiec, Rosji, Rumunii, Serbii, Słowacji, Słowenii, Węgier, Wielkiej Brytanii, Włoch oraz na Litwę i Ukrainę. Aktualnie, we FRoSTA Polska, pracuje ponad 600 osób. W styczniu 2000 roku rozpoczęła się pierwsza kampania telewizyjna produktów FRoSTY – Złotych paluszków rybnych, które od lat pozostają bestsellerem marki. Bardzo szybko produkcja ryb mrożonych została poszerzona o inne produkty mrożone – dania gotowe, warzywa, produkty z kurczaka, ciasto francuskie, sery, mrożone zioła i paluszki warzywne. W 2011 roku FRoSTA wprowadziła politykę 100% naturalnego smaku i jako pierwsza marka w Polsce usunęła za wszystkich swoich produktów wzmacniacze smaku, barwniki i aromaty, udowadniając tym samym, że produkcja mrożonej żywności nie wymaga stosowania tych substancji dodatkowych. Trzy lata później, w 2014 roku wszystkie produkty rybne FRoSTY uzyskały niebieski certyfikat MSC. Gwarantuje on, że ryby w produktach FRoSTY pochodzą ze zrównoważonych łowisk. MSC wraz z naukowcami, rybakami oraz organizacjami ekologicznymi opracowało standardy środowiskowe w zakresie zrównoważonego rybołówstwa, aby promować przyjazne środowisku praktyki rybackie wśród konsumentów i partnerów na całym świecie. Misją MSC jest wykorzystanie programu certyfikacji MSC oraz niebieskiego certyfikatu MSC, aby wesprzeć budowę zdrowych, stabilnych ekosystemów morskich i chronić zasoby mórz i oceanów.

FrostBoss® provides innovative frost protection solutions to growers around the world, with its range of frost protection fan units and software. From its base in Hastings, New Zealand the business specialises in frost fan design and manufacture, as well as the subsequent field placements, installation, and servicing. We are backed by a significant research and development programme focused on improving the efficiency and reliability of frost fans. The result of this research has been the development of the FrostBoss® C39, C49 & C59 frost fan units incorporating the advanced composite fan blade sets, automatic frost protection control units, monitoring software and a mobile phone-based monitoring app. The much higher blade passage frequency of the 4-blade fan also means the noise signature no longer has a low frequency beating sound similar to twin rotor helicopters. Along with the FrostBoss® C59 (5-blade machine), the FrostBoss® C49 is the quietest machine on the market and is the best-selling machine in New Zealand and Australia. A growing market for fan upgrades now exists as new technology is adapted to upgrade existing older units with newer composite blade sets. Web and mobile phone-based monitoring of frost protection has become more popular among growers as technology becomes readily available, and the FrostSmart® system has been designed with this in mind. FrostSmart® Frost Fan monitoring is an ideal solution if you don't live on-site or you're running multiple Frost Fan units. Our fans are installed in Australia, Canada, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Turkey and Chile through local distributors. Our products protect an extremely diverse range of crops from Grapes, Apples and Blueberries to Avocados, Citrus, Almonds and more.
