We provide individuals with basic reproductive and gynecological medical services, including annual exams, cancer screenings, birth control such IUDs and implants, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing and treatment, rapid HIV testing, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV, and rapid Hepatitis C testing. We accept Medicaid, most commercial insurers, and offer a sliding fee scale, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to receiving services. We also provide comprehensive, evidence based, medically accurate sexual health education to youth ages 12-20, on topics such as sexual risk avoidance, healthy relationships, self-esteem and body image, communication, and internet safety. We offer progamming in classrooms, dorms, and in one-on-one meetings.

Family Promise of Brevard, Inc. is a secular 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization committed to ending family homelessness in Brevard by collaborating with our community to provide families the support and resources they need to put themselves on a path towards long-term housing stability. We are a local affiliate of a national program, helping homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. And our promise? To keep families together and provide support every step of the way.

Family Promise of Colorado Springs is dedicated to serving families with children experiencing housing instability. Through the mobilization of our community and partnerships, we offer a full continuum of services which all include individualized case management, wrap-around services, and educational opportunities to empower families to address the underlying reasons housing instability occurred. Heart in Home – Homelessness Prevention & Shelter Diversion: Family Promise works with families at risk of housing loss to stabilize in their existing housing. When housing is unsustainable, Family Promise works with families to identify options for temporary housing outside of shelter, and then works with the families to empower them in rapidly stabilizing their housing instability. Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) – Family Shelter: Family Promise coordinates this network of 40 local faith congregations and their volunteers in providing for overnight stays, a day house, and meals to families with children experiencing homelessness. Families are able to expand their community network and support system through members of our community living their faith, and congregations opening their doors. Community Care Transitional Housing – Short-term Transitional Housing: In partnership with the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Family Promise provides an affordable, safe, and stable home for families participating in the IHN Program who need longer support to obtain permanent, affordable housing. Hope Homes – Home-Ownership Opportunity: A pathway to permanent affordable housing and home ownership for families successfully meeting goals within the IHN Program. Utilizing manufactured housing, and leveraging partnerships with skilled volunteer groups, Family Promise provides 9 additional months of individualized case management with homeowner training. Upon completion of program components, a low-interest, affordable mortgage is facilitate through one of our partners.
