FarmSmart aims to develop the capacity of smallholder farmers to thrive off any plot of land and create a world where farmers are thriving, healthy and happy. Providing tailored recommendations for farmers based on location, soil-type, season and irrigation access – the app provides a powerful source of knowledge to smallholder farmers online and offline. It includes links to chat and marketing features, allowing the farmers to communicate, share information and eventually sell their produce on the market.  It provides all this in an accessible, simple, intuitive and progressive medium. FarmSmart is being developed in partnership with Amido.

Farmstand is a plant-powered cloud caterer. Our mission is to feed the world plants. Were reinventing the way people eat in canteens and outdoor markets. So how does Farmstand work? First, we cook our food in our central kitchen in London. We only need 1 per city. Second, we then deliver it to canteens and outdoor markets. Third, the canteens & markets then sell it to customers via Farmstand-branded concessions staffed by their teams. Fourth, customers can also pre-order, pay and pick-up via the Farmstand app. No rent. No build costs. Capital efficient. Technology enabled. Globally scalable. We care deeply about our planet and people especially those who are struggling. So we price our food affordably so we can distribute it widely. You can get Lunch or Dinner for £5. Breakfast for £2. We only use ethical suppliers. Weve never had any landfill waste. Our entire team are owners. And all are paid at least the London Living Wage. Half of our Board of Directors are also women. We believe in Conscience Capitalism. Help us grow the pie for everyone. Why did we start Farmstand? In 2006, our Founder, Steven, was diagnosed with cancer. Changing to a plant-based diet was vital to improving his health. But we offer something for everyone. Our all-day offering is flexitarian and 100% customisable. An international menu without the carbon footprint. 80% veggie, 65% vegan, 5% sustainable fish, 15% meat. Our goal is to have everyone on the planet eat One plant-based Meal a Day. We call it, OMD. We're named a top-2 most sustainable food-service business in Europe 2 years in a row! In naming the new company, we looked beyond the here and now and took into consideration how we should position ourselves in the marketplace. We felt the name Farmward spoke well to who we are, as our focus and goal is to help our growers move their farming operation forward, into the future. To help communicate the meaning and purpose behind the name, we use the tagline: Advancing farming for generations.
