DSD Ferrometalco was founded in 1979 by the German Ferrostaal and is considered one of the Largest Steel Manufacturing and Construction Company in the Middle East as it has a production capacity of 50,000 Tons/Year, in which 30,000 Tons/Year of Steel Structures, 15,000 Tons/Year of Plate Work and 5,000 Tons/Year of Pipe Work. The company is completely owned by the German DSD Steel Group which was also founded by Ferrostaal, which is now completely owned to the Belgium Group DSD Steel Construction AG. Ferrosan Medical Devices provides a range of innovative medical devices. Our focus is centered on haemostasis during surgery, regional anaesthesia and biopsy. Ferrosan Medical Devices consists of two entities: Biomaterials & Electromechanics. Biomaterials develops and manufactures advanced topical haemostatic products to control bleeding in surgery. The products are marketed in more than 100 countries around the globe via Ethicon Biosurgery, a Johnson & Johnson Company and Elanco Animal Health. Electromechanics develops and manufactures innovative devices for regional anaesthesia and advanced biopsy products. The regional anaesthesia product, Certa Catheter™, is distributed by multiple distributors. The biopsy business is developed in close collaboration with a global partner.
