Fesq & Company was founded in 1848 when a young man travelled from Bordeaux as a supercargo. Georges Fesq worked for his uncles Vigourous Freres, negociants on the Quai des Chartrons in Bordeaux. A supercargo travelled with the goods, selling them in the various ports of call. Upon arrival in Sydney, Georges decided he wanted to stay and wrote home to his uncles asking for more wine to sell. Long before he died in 1899 the business had prospered and been passed to his son. Today the firm is still owned by the family and the fifth and sixth generations work in the business. The portfolio includes some of Australia and New Zealands foremost wine producers and a selection of great French wines from Alsace, the Rhone and the Loire. Fesq & Company operates in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. We're a locally owned and operated fast casual restaurant with a small footprint in the Midlothian area. We are a great place to hang with your friends and neighbors and to make new friends if so desired. We offer many German-inspired artisinal sausages along with the best burgers in town, and salads if you're into those. We offer drafts by the half and full liter stein, canned beers, and wine all in a relaxing and beautiful Biergarten atmosphere. Our Biergarten is fido friendly so be sure to bring them along, too!
