H FIBRAN ιδρύεται το 1974 στην Θεσσαλονίκη από τον κ. Δημήτριο Αναστασιάδη. Από το 1995 πρωταγωνιστεί στο χώρο της παραγωγής μονωτικών υλικών στον Ελλαδικό και στον Ευρωπαϊκό χώρο. Σήμερα διαθέτει συνολικά 6 υπερσύγχρονες βιομηχανικές μονάδες παραγωγής μονωτικών υλικών (Εξηλασμένης Πολυστερίνης, Πετροβάμβακα και Διογκωμένης Πολυστερίνης) καθώς και Γυψοσανίδας. Στην Ελλάδα, στις βιομηχανικές εγκαταστάσεις στην Τερπνή Σερρών, παράγονται προϊόντα πετροβάμβακα με την εμπορική ονομασία FIBRANgeo και προϊόντα εξηλασμένης πολυστερίνης με την εμπορική ονομασία FIBRANxps. Άλλες μονάδες παραγωγής εξηλασμένης πολυστερίνης βρίσκονται στην Πορτογαλία, στη Βουλγαρία και στη Σλοβενία. Στην Ιταλία η FIBRAN έχει επενδύσει στην παραγωγή προϊόντων γύψου (γυψοσανίδες και ενσακισμένα προϊόντα) καθώς και την διανομή μονωτικών, στεγανωτικών υλικών και προϊόντων ξηράς δόμησης. Τέλος, στην ΠΓΔΜ η FIBRAN δραστηριοποιείται παραγωγικά με την διογκωμένη πολυστερίνη. Προϊόντα της εταιρίας μας διανέμονται, είτε μέσω θυγατρικών επιχειρήσεων, είτε μέσω δικτύου εξουσιοδοτημένων συνεργατών και πρακτόρων, σε περισσότερες από τριάντα χώρες παγκοσμίως και στις πέντε ηπείρους. Παράλληλα, η FIBRAN διαθέτει πλούσια ερευνητική δράση μέσα από τη συνεργασία της με εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα τόσο της Ελλάδας, όσο και του εξωτερικού.
