Estimado amigo y cliente, Mi nombre es Pedro Ciudad Imedio, fundador de Finca La Rosala, la cuál nace principalmente, por la pasión que tengo desde pequeño por los panchitos, nombre que se le da al cacahuete en nuestra comarca y que tostaba mi vecino Angelito, miembro de una familia artesana que ha tostado frutos secos en horno de leña desde principios del siglo XIX. Un día, estando en mi oficina, fui a comprar mis queridos panchitos, cuando llegué, Angelito estaba tostándolos, y no pude evitar quedarme observando cómo lo hacía, él se fijó y me preguntó si quería aprender, yo, por supuesto, le dije que sí, y él, encantado con poder enseñarme lo que había hecho durante toda su vida, me mostró todos sus trucos y secretos. Al tiempo, Angelito falleció, por lo que un día, reflexionando, llegué a la conclusión de que no podía dejar estas recetas en el olvido y comencé a tostar en el horno de mi casa. Poco a poco, fui regalando a mis amigos los primeros panchitos y fui probando con más frutos secos: almendras, avellanas, pistachos, anacardos... Además de añadirles ingredientes innovadores. El resultado fue que todos mis amigos fueron pidiéndome cada vez más, a la misma vez que se iba extendiendo, boca a boca, a los amigos de mis amigos y gente cercana. Hoy en día, después de construir un pequeño tostadero y enseñar a mi mujer y a mis hijos a tostar de esta forma tan especial, Finca La Rosala dispone de instalaciones modernas en Calzada de Calatrava, tiene numerosos clientes consolidados y presencia en más de 12 países.
