Five Towns College is a creative learning community that develops in students the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to pursue careers in the performing arts, media and communications, business and industry, and the teaching professions. Five Watts Oy aims to raise the standards of LED lighting by providing products and services of high quality and performance. Five Watts is a designer and manufacturer of durable work lights. Our lights are designed to handle the severe environmental conditions and applications. Our business idea came from the construction fields demand for better lighting solutions. The existing products were lacking in durability and functionality, leaving a window for new ideas and experiments. We took this as a challenge and, as a result, Five Watts Oy was established in 2011. Each of the company founders has their own field of expertise that complete each other, so our designs are both innovative and well optimized. In the spring 2013 our first product, the rugged floodlight Zaurac 4-30, was released after several prototypes, extensive development and rigorous testing.

As a private, non-profit organization, our driving principle is to safeguard and affirm the human dignity of every person who faces the challenges of aging, serious illness, disability or loneliness. We have served more than 30 million families and 40,000 organizations by providing the tools needed to discuss advance care planning. We also advocate at the state and federal levels for public policies that enhance the rights of individuals and families in making these decisions. We provide support through resources, workshops and one-on-one assistance that promotes the conversation of dignified care and end-of-life wishes.
