FES promotes and defends the professional interests of all engineers in the state of Florida. FES supports engineering education, advocates licensure, promotes the ethical and competent practice of engineering and enhances the image and well-being of all engineers in the state of Florida.

Florida Flight Center is based in Sarasota, Florida, at Sarasota / Bradenton International Airport KSRQ. The Westcoast of Florida offers a tropical climate that makes it possible to fly all year round in beautiful blue sky and warm temperatures. Our airport, along with several nearby airports, provide every type of approach and runway required for ease of training. Weather rarely limits our flight activities. We have a professional, courteous, and well experienced staff, and our facility is state of the art! The Citation Jet is an excellent entry level aircraft, as well as an efficient and economical alternative to many other heavier and costly jets. Through this training, you will not only obtain your Cessna Citation Type Rating, but will gain a whole new level of experience and safety. We offer one-on-one personalized instruction at our location, or should you prefer, one-on-one training in your aircraft can be facilitated at your location as well. Sarasota is an excellent place to visit and enjoy while training. Our area has plenty to offer from world-class golf, to vacation hot spots, to beautiful beaches, all just minutes away from our training facility. We also offer mini vacation getaway training packages, designed for you and your companion to relax and enjoy while you train with us. The Mission of the Florida Forest Service is to protect Florida and its people from the dangers of wildland fire and manage the forest resources through a stewardship ethic to assure they are available for future generations. Strategic Goals + Provide leadership to protect forests, wildlands, and the public from the destructive effects of wildfire. + Promote sound forest management practices, which maintain the integrity of the invironment and provide for Florida's future natural resource needs. + Educate the public about the importance of Florida's forests and promote the renewal and protection of these resources. + Manage public lands for their unique character and to provide multiple public benefits. + Encourage Florida's communities to establish and perpetuate their urban forests. + Encourage family forest owners to attain their forestland management goals with guidance and technical assistance that promotes good land stewardship principles. + Improve the quality of service through the training and development of our people - our single greatest resource. This leadership will encourage innovation, excellence and freedom for personal growth. We provide Statewide coverage for wildland fire response and provide structural fire response in two counties.
