Florida National University, formerly Florida National College was established in 1982 and has been serving the South Florida community for more than 41 years. FNU currently graduates more than 1600 student per year and has more than 23,000 satisfied alumni that graduated or completed one or more of the many programs offered at FNU. Florida National University is a proprietary, urban commuter senior university offering the Masters in Business Administration; Bachelor Degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Health Services Administration, Legal Studies, and Nursing; as well as associate degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs in the following fields: accounting, business, computer technology, criminal justice, dental technology, education, English as a Second Language, nursing, medical technology, paralegal, radiology, and ultrasound. The Office serves Floridians through its responsibilities for regulation, compliance and enforcement of statutes related to the business of insurance. The Office is also entrusted with the duty of carefully monitoring statewide industry markets.

Florida's State Courts Administrator serves under the direction of the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court and the other six justices and oversees the operation of court initiatives and administrative functions. Additionally, the State Courts Administrator serves as the liaison between the court system and the legislative branch, the executive branch, the auxiliary agencies of the Court and the national court research and planning agencies. The Office of the State Courts Administrator was created on July 1, 1972.
