Effective July 1, 2024: the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research was renamed the Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation (LCI). The Office is spurred into action by California's promise of enduring environmental and equity leadership, coupled with the realization that progress is not occurring at the necessary speed and scale. Governors America Corp. (GAC) is a worldwide provider of innovative engine control products. Our products are found in every imaginable engine application and in the harshest environments. Typical applications include generator sets, material handling, marine propulsion, mining, locomotive and off-highway applications. GAC designs and manufactures a broad range of electronic governing and fuel control systems, complete with accessories. Engine control systems range in cost and complexity from single speed isochronous governors to sophisticated multi-engine load sharing /power control systems, full authority drive-by-wire systems, locomotive diesel electric controls, full engine generator military control systems and a great variety of complementing governing and control system accessories. GAC offers digital controls, which not only incorporate most of the features of our analog controls, but also comprehensive digital engine requirements. Features like user-defined torque, boost, and starting maps with CAN bus link for our digital engine controllers and full system metering, protection, start/stop control. GAC also designs and manufactures custom electromechanical integral actuators. These high-performance linear, rotary, and throttle body actuators are designed to optimally control a specific engine’s fuel system. Some units include GAC’s own high-accuracy position sensing system.

Governors Gun Club made National news in 2012 while pioneering the concept of a country club for the shooting sport. Governors created the label of "Guntry Club"​ and continue to pioneer and define the concept. In 2017 Governors took the concept to a new level with a new facility in Kennesaw, Georgia offering the Nation's first indoor trap and skeet field. The new facility is over 87,500 sq.ft. and over 5 stories tall. Beyond the large retail area the facility has 32 rifle rated lanes, 3 archery fields, a 100 yard high power rifle range, situational firearm training simulator, member lockers, wine lockers, and a large event venue. The event area features a restaurant that seats 300 people and is served by a full service bar. A second full service bar is adjacent to a partially covered roof top patio and lounge area. Governors expects to announce future plans and new facilities as they begin to expand in to several new markets in 2018.

GHSA represents the state and territorial highway safety offices that implement programs to address behavioral highway safety issues, including: occupant protection, impaired driving, and speeding. GHSA provides leadership and advocacy for the states and territories to improve traffic safety, influence national policy, enhance program management and promote best practices.

The Governors Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery is dedicated to the timely, fair and transparent allocation and disbursement of CARES Act emergency relief funds to COVID-19 pandemic impacted communities, organizations and businesses. Governor Sununu named New Hampshire Banking Commissioner Jerry Little as Executive Director to oversee this Office.
