The Greater Gig Harbor Foundation works collaboratively to build, bridge and enrich the greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula region by raising funding, advocating for and providing support to help meet diverse community needs in five core areas essential to sustaining vibrant healthy communities across our peninsulas. An engaged community working together to enhance the lives of all residents in our the greater peninsula communities—today and for future generations—by building philanthropic assets, connecting resources with needs, and providing leadership on key community issues and opportunities. GGHF works to achieve these goals by: - Collaborating with community partners to provide services and raise support for our five core areas. - Providing a “seed house” to area groups or organizations whose missions serve one or more of the Foundation’s five core areas. GGHF Curious by Nature School, is a one-of-a-kind nature-based early childhood program, and the first “seed” organization under our 501c3 umbrella. - Offering a fiduciary umbrella for community-based projects and programs that meet identified areas of need or fill asset gaps within our five core areas. - Supporting community parks, trails and recreation spaces by collaborating with local agencies and providing resources for land acquisition, capital improvements, conservation, and other park-based projects and programs. - Working with public agencies and private individuals to broker various transactions to help meet community needs including land acquisition for parks, trails, open space, conservation, and recreational facilities for use as public parkland or for habitat and/or cultural resource preservation. - Advocating for community-based parks, green spaces, recreation, schools, social programs, and quality arts and cultural facilities throughout the communities of our greater peninsulas.

Greater Good provides services to optimize behavior change intervention development and research. The main product of Greater Good is Creatisy, a website that assists in the systematic development of behavior change interventions using the Intervention Mapping protocol. In addition, QualiCoder will shortly be released, which is a cheap yet powerful online solution for qualitative data analysis. In addition, Greater Good can help with individual intervention development projects, qualitative and quantitative studies (both determinants studies and evaluations), en training of staff.

Greater Grays Harbor is a Regional Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council that partners with local businesses, community groups, and government at the local, regional, state and national levels to encourage economic development, business growth, and professional development. As the Regional Economic Development authority and voice of the business community, we provide a variety of services and referrals – including workforce development and training, economic research and reports, business development, and site selection and relocation.

Who we are: The Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit, membership-based business-advocacy organization. We are not a government agency, nor do we receive any public tax funding. The Chamber is governed by a volunteer board of directors and operated by a professional staff. Greater Greenwood Chamber members represent small organizations, big corporations and self-employed individuals, primarily located in northern Johnson and southern Marion counties. What we do: Our mission is to maximize members business potential by optimizing connections, resources and advocacy efforts.

Greater Hope Foundation is a nationally accredited non-profit organization founded in 2002 to provide culturally-respectful, family focused services in partnership with the community. Greater Hope Foundation comprises 15 programs in 4 different locations and serves over 1000 children and families each year through a continuum of care that includes mental health services, early childhood out-patient services, adoption, treatment foster care, supervised visitations, clinical and family support in homes and schools, and community counseling. The integration of these programs into the community has created a sustainable continuum of child and family services that are accessible and tailored to addressing a broad range of needs.
