Green Opportunities’ mission is to train, support, and connect people from marginalized communities to sustainable employment pathways. Green Opportunities (GO) offers a combination of technical training, life skills training, industry-recognized credentials, and personalized support services to unemployed and under-employed residents of Asheville and Buncombe County. Our training and employment programs empower our Members to overcome both personal and systemic barriers to employment. We accomplish this work through four social impact strategies: 1) A technical and life skills training and job placement program featuring technical certifications, basic education and ongoing case management; 2) GO owned or affiliated social enterprises that create jobs, generate program-supporting revenues and provide additional on-the-job training and living wage job opportunities for training graduates; 3) Community engagement that bolsters existing capacity through effective partnerships; and 4) Strategic outreach designed to educate and activate the greater community to support our programs and promote meaningful change.

Green PAC is een open innovatiecentrum voor (groene) kunststoffen, vezels en composieten. We initiëren en faciliteren ‘businessdriven‘ kennisontwikkeling. Binnen Green PAC wordt toegepast onderzoek gedaan, kennis ontwikkeld en worden (versnelde) innovaties gerealiseerd door een unieke samenwerking tussen hogescholen, universiteiten en bedrijven in de kunststofindustrie. Door gebruik te maken van de verschillende faciliteiten die Green PAC biedt, wordt het bedrijfsleven in staat gesteld om tegen gunstige voorwaarden innovatieve projecten te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren. Daarnaast richt Green PAC zich op het onderwijs in Noordoost-Nederland om de innovatiekracht rond kunststoftechnologie te versterken.

At Green Paper Works, we produce handcrafted luxury paper that's tree free & chemical free. We offer eco-friendly stationery and packaging solutions for individuals and businesses. We hope to provide a much needed sustainable alternative to the growing demand for paper and paper products. Let's make a change, one sheet at a time! Currently, we use grape waste to make our unique handcrafted paper. (Patent Pending)
